Martin Hojsík is a Slovak MEP from Renew Europe Group. In the European Parliament, he focuses among others on chemical policies, including pesticides, circular economy, pollinators protection, climate and sustainable financing. Hojsík has a longstanding experience in matters of environmental protection and climate change. He is an active MEP in four committees – ENVI, ITRE, BUDG. More recently, he has been appointed as Vice-Chair in ANIT committee. He is also the official contact point for the ECHA. Over the past 25 year, he worked in a number of international organizations including Four Paws, Action Aid or Greenpeace International. He studied genetics at the Comenius University in Bratislava.
